Doug Batie
Doug joined the Island Ventures team in 2023 to lead our overall vision and direction. Also the co-founder of Fulcrum Collective, Doug brings knowledge from over 25 years of experience at big CPG within the Walmart ecosystem. Throughout his life in NW Arkansas, he’s built a formidable network of partners, vendors, and industry advisors. Doug’s experience includes 16 years running Welch’s largest business unit to record growth. In recent years, Doug has been an entrepreneur and founder – starting a sports analytics company that served Top 25 basketball teams from the Power Five conferences. His most recent role was as CEO and co-founder of GEN Z Water which the Langers Juice Company recently acquired.

Steve Graves
Steve has been a business strategist, CEO advisor, business owner, and author for 25+ years. In addition to his work with Island Ventures, he is the founder of Coaching by Cornerstone, where he advises executives, business owners, and young entrepreneurs. His drive for fostering founder success on a personal level is unmatched, and has written extensively (to the tune of 20+ books) on the themes of personal passion and curiosity.

Justin Whaley
Justin served as CEO of Island Ventures from 2017 until 2023, leading overall vision and direction. Since the inception of CCF Brands (Island Ventures business unit) in 1999, Justin has held positions of increasing responsibility, including VP of Sales, CFO, COO, and CEO. Today, Justin is a member of the Island Ventures Board and CEO of Unknown Golf.
